Terms of Use

This text is a translation: in case of any difference, the Italian text prevails.
These terms govern the use of the Unamano app ("the app"), offered by Ariel Samson (contact: privacy@getunamano.app). By using the app you accept them.
1. What Unamano is
Unamano is a map-based noticeboard where people post "quests" (favours, odd jobs, teams, outings) and other people say "Battimano!". Unamano only puts people in touch. It does not organise quests, is not a party to the agreements between those who create them and those who take part, does not verify people's identity and does not guarantee anything that happens during a quest: neither payments, nor the quality of any work, nor safety, nor any damage or injury.
2. Responsibility
Everyone is responsible for what they post in the app and for what they do during a quest. Unamano does not handle payments and does not set pay or the type of work: any financial arrangements, as well as tax and insurance matters, concern only the users who make them.
Shared trips are for splitting costs: it is not allowed to be paid for carrying people.
Some listings on the map come from other platforms: Unamano is not responsible for them, reply on the original site.
The photos you add to a quest are public. You may upload only photos you have the rights to, with no recognisable people unless they have given their consent and no data that reveals an address, such as house numbers or number plates. Whoever uploads a photo is responsible for it.
3. Minimum age
To use the app you must be at least 16 years old. The minimum age shown on a quest is a statement by the person who creates it and is not verified.
4. Account
You can look at the map as a guest. To create or join quests you become a registered user (called a "Villager" in the app) with an email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your password safe. You can delete your account at any time from the app (👤 Account → Delete account).
5. What is not allowed
- posting or proposing illegal or dangerous activities;
- offensive, discriminatory or sexually explicit content, spam and scams;
- impersonating another person;
- creating a new account after being suspended or excluded.
6. Absences and disputes
Whoever creates a quest can mark as absent anyone who said "Battimano!" and did not show up. Anyone who receives an absence can dispute it from the app; the dispute is reviewed and, until it has been, the absence does not count.
7. Reports and blocks
Unamano has zero tolerance for offensive content and violent or abusive behaviour. You can report a quest or a person from the app (🚩 Report) and block anyone you want (🚫 Block): you will no longer see their quests and their messages, and they will not be able to join your quests. Reports are checked within 24 hours; if a quest or a person violates these terms, the quest, including its photos, may be removed and the account suspended. Photos that break these rules are reported by reporting the quest. Blocked people can be unblocked from 👤 Account → Blocked people.
8. Consequences
We may remove quests and content and suspend, block or delete accounts that violate these terms.
9. The service
The app is free and provided "as is": it may change, suffer interruptions or be shut down. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from the use of the app or from dealings between users.
10. Changes
If these terms change significantly, the new version will be shown to you in the app and you will have to accept it to continue using the app.
11. Governing law
Italian law applies. For disputes with a consumer, the competent court is the court of the place where the consumer resides.
